Week 19 : Procrastination. Doubt. Fear.

What a beautiful team we have here, isn’t ?

Procrastination, Doubt and Fear are, for some reasons, always together and there are more powerful when there “work” are combined.

Those three words could resume my last several weeks.

I’ve been procrastinated for almost weeks in E-V-E-R-Y area of my life. I felt fear to be ejected from the MKMMA dashboard. I have some doubt on wether or not I should continue this journey.

Heck, I even began to complain in silence about all the work that we have to do. What a shame I thought to myself after doing well at the beginning of the course, and after invested so much time in it.

I didn’t even remember when I began to have those negative thoughts. I think that vicious circle, all began in Christmas period, when I started setting aside one little tiny assignment.

Hum … it was frustrated but also interesting to see how easy it was for me to slept away from honoring ALL the requirement.

It made me thinking a lot. In fact, too much, hence the procrastination part. Hahaha.

I realize that I’ve been complaining of all that work. ” STOP IT ! ”

A sentence from Davene caught my attention in the last webinar : ” Everybody have problems, have excuses, etc … . So what ? The question is : What do you do NOW ?! ”

Another one : ” Don’t train your brain to NOT finish what you’ve began “.

But I think the major impact that have on me is that quote from Og Mandino from scroll V :

“Procrastination I will destroy with action; doubt I will bury under faith; fear I will dismember with confidence.” – Og Mandino.

Every time we enter a new scroll, there is always THE quote that hit our heart and our mind. For me, it was that one above. Hence, the title of that article 🙂

Anyway, I’m glad to still here. I’d like to apologize for all my readers whose followed me from the beginning for not be able to maintain a consistent publication of my articles.

I apologize as well for some article that seems to be redundant, especially for always saying the same negative thing : “I’m frustrated”.

Haanel talk about fear as well in the introduction of lesson part nineteen :

“Fear is powerful form of thought. It paralyzes the nerve centers, thus affecting the circulation of the blood.

This in turn, paralyzes the muscular system, so that fear affects the entire being, body, brain and nerve, physical, mental, and muscular.

Of course the way to overcome fear is to become conscious of power.” – Charles F. Haanel

I’m conscious of that power. So … to answer THE question :

What are you pretending not to know ?

Here is my answer : Nothing.

Let’s put some action today on what I know then.

  1. Jimmy if you read my latest blog, I’m talking about the same thing as you. It seems that a good number of us found the Christmas break a stumbling block to the rhythm of exercises we were getting used to last year. Don’t give up! Just make sure your next day puts the future you want in the driver’s seat. Every day is a new beginning and the past is dead – it can’t affect you. But the present? What a gift that is!
